Fourteen alleged members of the loosely organized hacker collective Anonymous pleaded not guilty in California court today to felony charges of computer hacking and conspiracy connected to the takedown of PayPal in support of Wikileaks. For now, members will be barred from most computer use unrelated to work, school, or contacting their attorneys, and will not be permitted to use Twitter or speak with any “other members of Anonymous or LulzSec.” Um, Your Honor, said one lawyer, “Anonymous is anonymous.” [CNET]
