Last Friday, Michele “Titanium Spine” Bachmann faced off against Tonight Show host and notorious hard-ass Jay Leno. She survived, but a couple of Leno’s slightly un-softballish questions about the HPV vaccine and gay marriage clearly scarred her. Bachmann said today that she was “very surprised because we had had a pre-show interview and that wasn’t at all what I was told we were going to be talking about.” Surprised? Michele! This is Jay Leno we’re talking about here. Everyone knows you can’t walk onto that set with your guard down.
