That’s why we weren’t surprised in the least to learn that someone in Texas commissioned a six-foot-tall terra-cotta planter in his likeness. Essentially, a massive Chia Pet. We’re just surprised no one has yet done this for the rest of the GOP primary field. There’s a lot of hair going on there, and this is clearly an untapped market: The Perry planter is listed at $4,500 on eBay. Our art department has graciously whipped up a Mitt Romney prototype, on the left there. For the right bid, maybe we can make it a reality.
