Company Responsible for March’s Casino Bus Crash Is Operating Under a Different Name

Citing safety violations, federal officials shut down World Wide Travel after the crash of one of its Mohegan Sun–to–Chinatown buses resulted in the deaths of fifteen people this spring. However, the company’s vehicles are still on the road: Owner Michael Shub simply transferred the fleet to Great Escapes, a busing operation he appears to own and which shares World Wide Travel’s former address and routes.
