A new Suffolk University poll shows that, in Florida, a ticket of President Obama and Joe Biden would lose to a Republican to Be Named Later and Marco Rubio by five points. But if Obama ran with Hillary Clinton, he would beat Republican to Be Named Later and Rubio by three points. Even though this is kind of an absurd poll question — the identity of the Republican nominee for president will influence how people vote, presumably — it still makes a strong case for the idea that Clinton would give a boost to Obama’s reelection hopes. It’s still probably not happening, but that doesn’t mean it shouldn’t. [Political Wire]
