John Boehner Sent Gabby Giffords a Get Well Card, and That’s It

According to a peeved Mark Kelly, Speaker of the House John Boehner was so concerned when Gabrielle Giffords was shot in the head, he mailed her a get-well card, but never phoned or visited, even when he was in Houston, where Giffords was rehabbing. In other words, the same level of effort he puts into thanking an aunt for an ugly sweater.
