Google Zeitgeist, the search giant’s year-end list of popular terms worldwide, can be sorted by location, revealing that in the New York region, we’re very concerned about travel. The top four searches of 2011 are “Mta,” “Nj Transit,” “Hopstop,” and “Dmv Ny,” while “Ezpass” comes in at number eight. Apparently we were all on our way to either the Brooklyn Public Library or Brooklyn Bowl, both of which also made the top ten.
