What’s next for Michele Bachmann now that her glorious, quixotic run for president is over? When she announced her withdrawal from the race on Wednesday, Bachmann promised, “Make no mistake, I will continue to be a strong voice. I will continue to stand and fight for the country and for the American people.” Whether that means a run for statewide office, a cable news gig, or something else, nobody knows. If it were up to Fred Armisen, though, Bachmann’s career path would take a markedly different turn. “How about a photographer?” he suggested to us last night at the season two premiere of IFC’s Portlandia at the American Museum of Natural History. “She’d make a good photographer. Nature, beautiful things, cityscapes, she’d be good at that. I don’t know why, but that’s how I think about her.”
