Sixty-six-year-old Democrat Ron Barber already has Gabby Giffords’s and husband Mark Kelly’s endorsement in the interim election for a replacement to serve the rest of the congresswoman’s term. Giffords resigned late last month to focus on her recovery; Barber was also injured during the January 8, 2011 attack outside a Safeway in Tuscon, Arizona. But the self-described non-politician isn’t sure if he would run for a full term if he wins. He’d have six months to decide if he wants to dabble in that kind of futility.
