On the heels of Mitt Romney’s narrow victory in Michigan last night, John Heilemann visited Andrea Mitchell today to discuss whether the neck-and-neck primary results against Rick Santorum will give Romney any momentum leading up to next week’s Super Tuesday primaries in ten states, about half of which are in the South. “That’s not going to be an easy road for Romney,” Heilemann said, noting that a win in Ohio could be the biggest boost for the current front-runner. “If Mitt Romney can repeat what he did [in Michigan] in Ohio, without the home-state advantage … he’ll be able to start making the argument pretty convincingly that he should be on his way to the nomination.”
