The former Goldman Sachs executive who so publicly (and to viral effect) resigned in a Times op-ed ten days ago is now making the rounds of New York’s publishing houses. The book he is peddling is described as “a coming-of-age story, the tale of someone who came into the business with good intentions and sky-high ideals that were ultimately pierced by Goldman’s obsessive focus on making money” — so more or less exactly what he wrote in his op-ed, just with more pages tacked on. And so the body of vampire squid-obsessed literature grows.
