For the second straight year, the number of people who took the LSAT declined, falling 16 percent throughout the 2011-12 academic calendar, and almost 25 percent over the last two years. “The idea that law school is an easy ticket to financial security is finally breaking down,” explained one education policy expert. Plan B isn’t looking so hot either.
