Mike Daisey: ‘We All Know Where the Road Paved With Good Intentions Leads’

In a blog post titled “Some Thoughts After The Storm,” the man responsible for what can surely be considered the biggest scandal in the history of “This American Life” continued to wrestle with his very complicated definition of the word truth while offering up a pretty affecting apology to a number of people, including his colleagues in the theater community, the journalists to whom he gave interviews in which he “exaggerated [his] own experiences,” and the human rights and labor issues advocates whose jobs may have been made harder as a result of his “failures.”
