First Dog Bo Obama lives rent free in the White House, but he’s going to have to pull his weight during this campaign if he wants to keep marking pristine lawns in the nation’s capital. Now appearing on the campaign’s website is the post “Three Years of Bo,” which directs to a page entitled, “Throw Bo a Bone on His Anniversary,” recalling how the president made good on his campaign promise three years ago to get daughters Sasha and Malia a puppy. That’s when the Portuguese water dog became a part of the First Family. Bo himself probably won’t demand any proceeds from the warm and fuzzy donations, and he isn’t much of a risk to say something dopey on the trail. All in all, a pretty slick and fool-proof plan by the campaign.
