The New York Post caught former Giuliani enforcer William Bratton using an “official NYPD business” parking permit for his Lexus SUV despite the fact that he resigned from the department in 1996. The ex-NYPD and LAPD commissioner put his ride in a “No Standing” zone outside of the security firm Kroll, where he serves as chairman, which should’ve been enough for a $115 ticket. NYPD spokesman Paul Browne insists former commissioners are entitled to placards, but Lee Brown, who had the job in the early nineties, told the tabloid that he was never offered one. Ray Kelly, on the other hand, can probably skip the line at Shake Shack.
