In late April, it was reported that a rabbinical group had raised at least $1.5 million to hold a mass rally of ultra–Orthodox Jewish men to consider some of the Internet’s major dangers: porn, gambling, and FarmVille. The demonstration, set for tomorrow, is expected to attract an (all-male) crowd of at least 40,000, enough to fill Citi Field and potentially even overflow into nearby Arthur Ashe Stadium. “They think that [the outside] world is so seductive and so dangerous and so base,” Queens College sociologist Samuel Heilman told the AP, “that that’s the greatest danger.”
