Thankfully no one was killed or suffered life-threatening injuries in the collision at Fifth Avenue and East 125th Street this afternoon, reports DNA Info. According to FDNY Deputy Chief John Sullivan, the crash occurred when a delivery truck tried to squeeze between the MTA bus and gas tanker while the bus was pulled over at a stop. “There were several people that were getting off the bus, and when the bus was hit, they were knocked to the ground,” Sullivan said. The thirty-one bus riders, including nine children, suffered mostly minor injures.
