Last Thursday, Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s declared war on all sixteen-ounces-or-larger soda cups and bottles, his latest hit on all things fattening in New York City. It wasn’t long before Bloomberg was once again accused of running a nanny state (see him cast as Mrs. Doubtfire in this full-page New York Times ad.)
