The New York Times was forced to issue a correction today after identifying the precious brown-and-white species embodied by Gizmo as a mowglis. The paper notes, “They are mogwais, not mowglis. Mowgli was a character in Kipling’s Jungle Book.” Either way, do not expose those little maniacs to sunlight.
