The identities of the twelve people killed by gunman James Holmes at an Aurora movie theater have been confirmed and made public by the Arapahoe County Coroner’s Office. They are 6-year-old Veronica Moser, 27-year-old Alex Sullivan (who was celebrating his birthday at the theater), 29-year-old Air Force reservist Jesse Childress, 32-year-old Rebecca Wingo, 18-year-old high school student AJ Boik, 27-year-old Navy sailor John Larimer, 23-year-old college student Micayla Medek, 24-year-old aspiring sports journalist Jessica Ghawi (who recently blogged about escaping a shooting in Toronto), 51-year-old Gordon Cowden, 24-year-old Alex Teves, 27-year-old Matt McQuinn, and 26-year-old Jon Blunk (the latter two both apparently died while trying to protect their girlfriends.)
