Michele Bachmann’s accusation that Hillary Clinton’s long-time aide (and “normal family” member) Huma Abedin — a Muslim — might be a spy for the Muslim Brotherhood is not going over well with John McCain. On the Senate floor today, McCain, clearly piqued, spoke for nearly seven minutes about the “sinister” allegations against Abedin, apparently a friend of his. “These attacks have no logic, no basis, and no merit and they need to stop,” he said. “They need to stop now.”
