Al Gore to Play Keith Olbermann on Current TV

Down an imposing, recognizable, and opinionated anchor, former vice-president Al Gore will step in to lead coverage of the Republican and Democratic National Conventions on Current TV, the network he co-founded. Gore will be joined by his trusty team of politicians-turned-cable news hosts, including former Michigan Governor Jennifer Granholm and Eliot Spitzer, Current announced today, while Keith Olbermann will hopefully be sitting around making .GIFs of them for his Tumblr.
