You can almost picture those mermaids, can’t you? Playing Mermaid Ball in the stream?

It kind of just looks like the rest of Mars, but trust us, what you see in this photo is “a tilted block of an ancient stream bed” once covered by fast-moving ankle- to waist-deep water which we’re guessing was probably filled with a colony of miniature, three-eyed mermaids.
