A Parks Department worker stabbed and killed a fellow employee Tuesday afternoon at Al Oerter Recreation Center in Flushing Meadows Corona Park in Queens, NBC New York reports. Police said the fatal confrontation occurred after an ongoing dispute between the 51-year-old attacker and his 31-year-old male co-worker, both of whom police have not yet identified. Mayor Bloomberg had visited the park only hours before, according to the Post. Officers assigned to the nearby U.S. Open tournament caught the guy not far from the crime scene.
