The Russian protest band and international cause célèbre Pussy Riot are not free yet: The trio had their appeal hearing postponed today when one of the women pulled another punk move, firing her lawyer and refusing the two other attorneys attached to the case. “My position in the criminal case does not coincide with their position,” convicted hooligan Yekaterina Samutsevich explained simply. Team Balaclava, which even includes the unlikely support of Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, will have to wait until October 10 for their next shot at justice, or the Russian equivalent thereof.
