Chelsea Clinton was active on the campaign trail during the 2008 primaries, yet she’s barely been seen during the current presidential race. The Post calls her absence “conspicuous,” but the paper has an explanation. According to sources, Clinton’s NBC News contract “prevents her from participating in the campaign.” The fact that she’s not a politician and doesn’t have a parent running for office this year is probably a factor as well.
