After using a doctored cover image of Paula Broadwell’s now-famous biography of David Petraeus during a 5 p.m. newscast last night, ABC News’s Denver affiliate has acknowledged that it made a terrible mistake, and has learned a valuable lesson: If you pull photos off the Internet to use on your evening newscast, it’s best to actually look at the image first, with your eyes, to make sure they don’t contain any unexpected vagina references.
