New York City students got an unexpected break for Hurricane Sandy, but the schools are in clawback mode now, announcing kids will have to attend class for three of the five days they normally have off in February. Schools were closed for a week because of the storm, and the regular calendar allows for two snow days, so that means the three extra days have to come from somewhere. If they want to take any of that February break at all, kids better pray for no snow days between now and then, which will be weird.
