On Wednesday Jerry Sandusky was transferred to the prison where he’ll serve his 30 to 60-year sentence and put in protective custody. He’ll eat his meals in his cell, watch television there, and get an hour of exercise a day, five days a week. Sandusky will be allowed one family visit per week, but almost no personal contact: “All visits to his restricted housing unit, including those by counselors, will be non-contact, meaning all communication will happen through his closed cell door.”
