In Washington, D.C. to cover the Inauguration, Barbara Walters paid a visit to the British ambassador on Saturday night and, while there, fell and cut her forehead, Politico reported earlier today. The latest update from ABC News senior vice-president Jeffrey Schneider is that 83-year-old Walters will remain in the hospital for observation. And while it’s sad to know that Walters won’t be on the air tomorrow, we are happy to learn that she “is alert (and telling everyone what to do).” Get better soon, Babs!
