Fox News journalist Jana Winter said on Thursday that she’ll fight a court ruling that ordered her to testify on who leaked information about a notebook sent to James Holmes’s psychiatrist that was “full of details about how he was going to kill people.” The defense says the story violates the gag order in the case and might prejudice potential jurors, but nine law enforcement officials testified that they weren’t the source. Prosecutors have said that trying to force Winter to testify might delay the case, and her lawyer says she plans to “assert all legal redress available to her.”
