While the official One Fund Boston donation pool for victims of the marathon bombing and their families is already over $10 million, the Internet’s crowd-funding is also in the millions for specific victims. Among them are Jeff Bauman, the man brutally wounded in the widespread wheelchair photo who helped identify the suspects ($603,000); a newlywed couple who both suffered severe leg injuries ($629,000); and a couple in their sixties ($115,000), among others. In comparison, the fund to replace the bullet-ridden boat where Dzhokhar Tsarnaev was found Friday night seems much less important, but even that one has more than $6,700 so far.
