It was bound to happen eventually: A Citi Bike rider apparently trying unsuccessfully to beat a red light got hit by a livery cab in the West Village, becoming the first victim of the Citi Bike program. He went to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, the New York Post reports, and the bike got a bent wheel. The Post, naturally, has already taken to gloating.
