We’ve known how James Holmes was going to plead for some time, and as of last month, we even knew what the alleged Aurora, CO shooter was going to wear to court. Now, the suspect’s attorneys have admitted for the first time in court that Holmes did kill twelve movie-goers, wounding dozens more, but that he was “in the throes of a psychotic episode” during the rampage at a theater last summer, according to the Denver Post. Holmes is facing 166 counts of murder, attempted murder and other offenses with prosecutors seeking the death penalty.
