In a newly published interview with the NSA leaker, conducted before he outed himself and went on the run, by encryption expert/WikiLeaks associate Jacob Appelbaum, Edward Snowden explained the extent of U.S. surveillance abroad in creative terms: “[The U.K.’s] fibers are radioactive,” he said, “and even the Queen’s selfies to the pool boy get logged.” Hypothetically.
