Almost three weeks after suffering a seizure at her home on Nantucket, John Kerry’s wife, Teresa Heinz Kerry, was discharged from Boston’s Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital on Saturday. She praised the staff of the facility, saying, “They are the kindest people, who love what they do and do it superbly well.” The cause of the seizure has not been released to the public. The 74-year-old said she plans to resume her charity work following “a period of rest.”
