Do Not Judge Tim Geithner’s Book by Its Cover

Although that is a pretty great title. Photo: Crown Publishing Group

A forthcoming memoir by former Treasury secretary Tim Geithner — a book so hotly anticipated that it spawned a Twitter hashtag — will apparently be titled Stress Test. The book, whose title is presumably a nod to my colleague Justin Miller’s contribution to #GeithnerBookTitles, is apparently going to be “a behind-the-scenes look at the financial meltdown and the recovery” and a “playbook’ that future policy makers can draw on and that the public can use to understand how and why governments act in crisis,” according to this catalogue listing.

Stress Test will also, hopefully, have a different cover from the one currently pictured. Because this one is boring. And has the wrong title on it.
