During a visit to the Rockaways today, Anthony Weiner attacked the city’s Hurricane Sandy response for being “obsessed with their own idea for a hipster-looking concessions on the beach, rather than really giving some real thought … about how to restore the boardwalk and how to restore the community.” To be fair, the tattooed, beach-going contingent hasn’t been so kind to him lately.
