FBI Releases Chilling Footage of Navy Yard Shooter Aaron Alexis

Aaron Alexis, the gunman who killed twelve people in Washington, D.C., last week, can be seen stalking the halls of the Navy Yard with a shotgun in gut-sinking security footage released today by the FBI. At a press conference, the agency shared the results of its investigation so far: The attack lasted from Alexis’s arrival at the building at 7:53 a.m. until he was shot and killed by law enforcement at 9:25 a.m. His weapons included a Beretta handgun and a Remington 870 shotgun, “altered with a sawed-off barrel and stock” and etched with the previously reported phrases “Better off this way!” and “My ELF weapon!” as well as “End to the torment!” and “Not what yall say!”

Earlier speculation that Alexis believed he was the subject of mind control by extremely low frequency (ELF) waves has been corroborated by the FBI:

There are multiple indicators that Alexis held a delusional belief that he was being controlled or influenced by extremely low frequency (ELF) electromagnetic waves. The etching of “My ELF weapon!” on the left side of the receiver of the Remington 870 shotgun is believed to reference these electromagnetic waves. In addition, a document retrieved from his electronic media stated, “Ultra low frequency attack is what I’ve been subject to for the last 3 months, and to be perfectly honest that is what has driven me to this.”

ELF technology was a legitimate program for naval sub-tonal submarine communications; however, conspiracy theories exist which misinterpret its application as the weaponization of remote neural frequencies for government monitoring and manipulation of unsuspecting citizens.

He is believed to have acted alone.
