The operator of a remote-control helicopter was killed this afternoon in a Brooklyn park when his device crashed into him. “Sources said that one of the propeller blades sliced off a piece of his skull,” DNAinfo reports. The victim, who has not yet been identified, was either 19 or 20 years old, according to reports. “The mangled helicopter has black and white striped wings,” The Wall Street Journal said. “It came to rest on its propeller in a grassy area of the park.”

Investigators were on the scene trying to figure out exactly what happened.
