Some of the best moments in Chutzpah, Stateless Media’s 11-minute documentary on Anthony Weiner’s re-entry into New York politics (and all that came with that), take place in elevators. That’s where we get to see Weiner being open and jokey with a camera operator, and later where we see him listening to people’s frustrated complaints about a (presumably) NYCHA building. In between elevator rides, the documentary provides a much more nuanced look than we usually get at a candidate best known for only one thing. It’s worth a watch.
