29-year-old Timothy Schiavo, who either hasn’t been on a plane in the last decade or so or just wanted to see what he could get away with, tried to get through security with “a dozen knives, including an illegal ‘trench knife’ attached to a set of brass knuckles,” officials told the New York Daily News. And that’s not all! He had “five pairs of scissors, more than a dozen lighters, a novelty lighter that looked like a handgun, bushels of matchbooks and a gigantic container of pub pretzel mix,” so he at least made one smart traveling decision.
