Users of the gloriously acerbic and out-of-touch mommy message board UrbanBaby had a collective freak-out today when the site was overrun with dirty pictures and foreign text. In messages that make your average Internet commenter look levelheaded, the site’s base flooded the forums with perfect reactions, like, “Now I know what it felt like to stand on the lido deck of the Titanic.” Another added, as if the Internet were imploding, “I never thought I could feel nostalgic about the ignorant and mean-spirited bitches who inhabit this site, but you keep me on my toes and grateful that my life is not as fucked up as yours. Thanks for all the laughs!”
But things quickly went back to normal. “In recovery and when UB was down it was a trigger for me!” sighed one user. “My sobriety thanks the moderators for bringing it back to life before I reached for my vices. : )”
And then it was forgotten: “In need of a new watch. Anything under 2k. Suggestions would be great — Tia!”
