Chris Christie just picked up an amazing 2016 endorsement, albeit one that’s tucked in the middle of an article about how conservatives “recoil” at the thought of him being the GOP’s nominee. “I love his authenticity, I love who he is,” Gov. Susana Martinez of New Mexico told the New York Times, adding, “I will support Governor Christie in anything he decides to do in life.” There’s already speculation that Martinez might be Christie’s running mate (yes, the 2016 veepstakes is already underway), but she should probably hold off, just in case Christie tries to annex Delaware or something.
