Two days ago, Rob Ford, probably five or six beers deep, compared the Toronto city council’s effort to strip him of his powers to the invasion of Kuwait by Iraq in 1990. “This, folks, reminds me of when I was watching with my brother when Saddam attacked Kuwait,” Ford said, “and President Bush said, ‘I warn you, I warn you, I warn you, do not.’”
Well, Kuwait noticed. According to Twitter user @Pacinthe, the above headline in a Kuwaiti newspaper reads, “What happened to me is like Iraq invading Kuwait.”
Upon seeing the article, Ford reportedly asked his brother, “Am I really high or is this writing totally illegible?”
