“I respect Lis as a professional but I also respect her right to privacy,” mayor-to-be Bill de Blasio said when asked about a report that his spokeswoman, Lis Smith, is dating Eliot Spitzer, whom she worked for during his failed comptroller bid. “So I’m not going to get any further into it.”
