Justine Sacco, the senior director of corporate communications at Barry Diller’s IAC, the parent company of the Daily Beast, CollegeHumor, and Tinder, is already in vacation mode! She may return to find she has much more free time to pursue that stand-up comedy career.
Update: The rest of the IAC communications team, sans Sacco, sends along the following statement: “This is an outrageous, offensive comment that does not reflect the views and values of IAC. Unfortunately, the employee in question is unreachable on an international flight, but this is a very serious matter and we are taking appropriate action.”
