The tourist who lost her leg when a taxicab jumped a curb and crushed it is now suing the city for $27.5 million, claiming it failed to keep a dangerous driver off the road. The filing by Sian Green claims that cabbie Faysal Himon had seven points on his license, but was allowed to keep driving thanks to a computer glitch, the New York Post reported. The city didn’t even take him off the road after he hit Green, so she’s going to take it up in civil court instead.
