Brooklyn Shoppers Not Ready for in-Store Knife Sharpening

Some customers at Brooklyn’s new Whole Foods are just not ready for the store’s knife-sharpening station, it seems. Some complained they were afraid knives would go flying across the store (impossible, says knife sharpener Chris Harth), while at least one said her kid had stuck his hand into the sharpening device, which was turned off at the time. Hopefully the solution will be plastic safety bubbles for the customers, and not removal of the sharpening station. [h/t Grub Street]
