There’s no one on New York sports radio quite like Mike Francesa. The longtime WFAN broadcaster is legendarily loud, brash, and … well, “opinionated” doesn’t quite capture how stubborn he can be. He’s famous (or infamous, depending on whom you ask) for defending Alex Rodriguez, chewing out Jets fans, and (allegedly) falling asleep on air. This past Saturday, hundreds of devoted Francesa fanatics gathered for the first-ever “FrancesaCon” (think SantaCon, but for Francesa devotees), bar-crawling their way across the Upper East Side. We headed out to get some of the most committed attendees to show off their Francesa impressions. The results were as loud, loving, and filled with Francesa-isms such as “I’ve been doing this for 25 years,” “wait a second, wait a second, wait a second,” and his iconic “back aftuh dis.” Watch below!
